Solar Youth is seeking Volunteers

Solar Youth, Inc. (a New Haven-based non-profit youth development and environmental education organization founded in 2000) is in need of a few new faces to help the organization establish roots and grow branches.

Possible volunteer roles include:

• Board membership
• Committee Membership
• Advisory Board membership
• Adventure Trip volunteers

We are looking for people with the following qualities:

• A willingness to work with youth as partners (youth are involved with organizational leadership, including the board)
• An interest is helping the organization move from “infancy” to “early childhood” (an endeavor FULL of excitement!)
• Concern for both the youth and the environment of New Haven
